Areas of Research

Mobile Intelligence has experience in three primary areas of research, discussed briefly below. More detailed information about each can be found by followign the links indicated.

Robot Control Systems - Dr. MacKenzie has extensive experience developing autonomous robot control software and evaluating its utility, robustness and usability. Software Agents - Mobile Intelligence has been developing and using software agent-based architectures with its current DARPA projects. In addition, the control systems developed by Dr. MacKenzie for Georgia Tech and Mobile Intelligence are software agen behavior-based designs. Case-Based Reasoning - Mobile Intelligence has applied case-based reasoning and design techniques to its current projects to simplify complex user interfaces. Efforts have been made to build a subsystem that can be reused in other projects.
